Kris Fuss-Gonzalez

As Director of Consulting Services, Ms. Fuss Gonzalez represents institutions at program reviews and certification visits, conducts site visits at institutions to determine compliance with Federal regulations, and provides direction to FAME staff and clients in all aspects of financial aid administration. During her 30+ years with FAME, she has broadened her experience by holding a variety of management positions in several departments including Direct Loan and Fiscal Services. Additionally, Kris has served on several focus groups with ED and has a wealth of knowledge in Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) and Title IV regulatory processing.

Sally Samuels

Director, Compliance

Sally is one of the country’s leading authorities on Federal financial aid administration with more than 39 years of “in the trenches” experience. As a respected Industry leader, she is frequently called upon to speak at School, Accrediting, Regional and State conferences as well as to act as school liaison during program reviews and compliance audits. Having processed, reviewed and taught financial aid for over 39 years Sally’s experience includes representation at over 300 program reviews and certification visits for postsecondary institutions. In addition, Sally brings real life experiences, observations and illustrations to her audience adding a touch of humor to regulatory compliance. Her style makes the sometime complex topics easy to understand and audiences always come away with practical knowledge that they can apply to their everyday situations. Sally has been published many times over in various Higher Education periodicals providing her expertise and insight on administering Federal funding based on compliance with the Federal statutes. She has also been called upon as an expert witness by Federal and state judicial districts in cases dealing with Federal funding issues.

Julie DiPuccio

Sr. Financial Aid Consultant

Julie DiPuccio has been in the financial aid profession since 1979. During her years with FAME, she has broadened her experience by holding a variety of positions and is currently FAME’s Sr. Consulting Representative. In her current role, Julie represents institutions at program reviews and certification visits, conducts site visits at institutions to determine compliance with Federal regulations, presents training programs for FAME clients and for higher education associations and provides direction to FAME clients in all aspects of financial aid administration. Julie’s diverse background in the financial aid profession and ability to translate this experience into interesting and valuable training programs have made her an extremely popular presenter.

Ibis Vento

Consulting Services Manager

Ibis Vento received her Bachelor and Master of Science in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Since joining the higher education industry in 2002, she has attained a myriad of experiences and extensive financial aid knowledge within her different roles. She assists schools in adhering to the federal regulations by conducting compliance file reviews, verification, return of title IV and on-site financial aid process evaluations. School administrators can rely on her understanding of financial aid procedures and federal requirements when administering federal funding, in addition to providing custom financial aid training and group presentations. Ibis has a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and has a demonstrated track record of consistent client satisfaction.

Lynn Borges

Financial Aid Consultant

Lynn began her financial aid career in 1990 and brings school experience along with her extensive FAME software knowledge to her current role as Financial Aid Consultant. Her vast knowledge and understanding of NSLDS make her the resident expert for Enrollment Reporting. Lynn assists clients with verification, return to Title IV calculations, and detailed file reviews. With her commitment and dedication to compliance, she provides guidance to schools in all aspects of Title IV administration.
