Sally Samuels - Sr. Vice President for Regulatory Affairs

Sally is one of the country’s leading authorities on Federal financial aid administration with more than 27 years of “in the trenches” experience.  As a respected Industry leader, she is frequently called upon to speak at School, Accrediting, Regional and State conferences as well as to act as school liaison during program reviews and state compliance audits.

Having processed, reviewed and taught financial aid for over 27 years Sally’s experience includes representation at over 200 program reviews and certification visits for postsecondary institutions. In addition, Sally is also certified to teach both basic and advanced financial aid programs in the State of California. Sally brings real life experiences, observations and illustrations to her audience, adding a touch of humor to regulatory compliance.  Her style makes the sometime complex topics easy to understand and audiences always come away with practical knowledge that they can apply to their every day situations.

Sally is a board member for the Private Career Colleges & Schools (PCCS), the American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS), as well as a member of NASFAA & SASFAA. Sally also resides on FAME’s Senior Management Board and holds the position of Sr. Vice President of Regulatory Affairs. 

Julie DiPuccio - Consulting Services Manager

Julie DiPuccio has been in the financial aid profession since 1979. During her years with FAME, she has broadened her experience by holding a variety of positions and is currently FAME’s Consulting Service Manager. In her current role, Julie represents institutions at program reviews and certification visits, conducts site visits at institutions to determine compliance with Federal regulations, presents training programs for FAME clients and for higher education associations and provides direction to FAME clients in all aspects of financial aid administration.

Julie’s diverse background in the financial aid profession and ability to translate this experience into interesting and valuable training programs have made her an extremely popular presenter at FAME functions, FAME client programs and meetings of various professional associations.

Julie is also certified to teach both basic and advance financial aid programs in the State of California.

Dianne Mitchell - Consulting Services Officer

Dianne has over 12 years experience in the acquisition and administration of federal state and local funds. Her previous positions include Finance Director at a large multi campus University, overseeing fiscal processes and compliance. As a member of FAME’s Consulting Services Department, she coordinates and conducts training sessions, provides program review representation, conducts site visits, responds to compliance audits and assists with all Consulting Services functions.

Dianne is certified to teach both basic and advance financial aid programs in the State of California. Her background and experience in all areas of financial aid make her a valuable resource for FAME clients.

Dianne’s extensive background in the financial aid profession and engaging personality has made her an extremely popular presenter at FAME functions and meetings throughout the country.

FAME 2008 Financial Aid Client Training Schedule

FAME offers monthly financial aid procedural training to clients that utilize FAME’s processing service. There is a small fee of $75 per person to cover the cost of attendee’s materials.
