Financial Aid Processing

FAME’s Financial Aid Service Center processes, calculates and schedules disbursements for Pell, Teach and ACG/SMART grants, Federal Title IV loans and campus based awards. FAME’s processing service orders Title IV funds and generates the required federal reports for institutions that participate in Title IV programs. Our processing service improves the efficiency of your financial aid office, minimizes errors and reduces costs.

Our Federal Loan division is devoted exclusively to processing Federal Direct and Federal Family Education loans. FAME clients gain peace of mind as we certify their applications, attest to correct payment periods and loan amounts, perform required record keeping duties and transmit daily loan information to the lenders and to U.S. Department of Education (ED).

Our Fiscal division orders Title IV funds, updates disbursement information, and reconciles the institution's federal bank accounts (monthly). We also provide audit packages and file year-to-date reconciliations and FISAP reports. The Fiscal division dramatically decreases the fiscal work load and ensures that our clients meet all federal cash management practices, while decreasing the risk of any liabilities.
